Algonquin (Burnt Island) August 1988

An enormous number of people left from Canoe L. but we quickly became separated due to the wind. Madeleine&Brett, Dave&Sheryl (sp?), and Chris&Karen split off to the east side of Burnt Island L. and the remainder, including Leslie, Hubert, Mike, Mike, Whynn, Doug and Jennifer were on the west side. The next day we chanced upon one another at a day trip to Alder Lake and we lunched together back on Burnt Island Lake.

That evening the easterners paddled across the lake to join the westerners for dinner and smores and paddled back by moonlight.
